Information Systems aims to develop an understanding of the components of Computer-Based Information Systems (CBIS), their functions, and types of CBIS used in organizations. Furthermore, it aims to provide a general understanding of the information system acquisition process and helps to find appropriate information system solutions to meet the organizational requirements as well as ethical, privacy and security issues associated with the use of information systems.
